                             "Project 400"     Unlimited Streamliner
Welcome to our site,  We will be covering the build and all of the steps it takes us to get to the Salt Flats  This has been a 3 year adventure up to this point.  Now comes the part where the Rubber meets the Salt.  During the next few months we will be researching and hunting down all of the parts that are necessary to achieve this build.  Not alot of resources for the building of a Streamliner,  We are  certain that a majority of the parts will be hand built.

Currently we are ordering many of the parts for the driveline and suspension,  We are looking at the buildup of a Quickchange reaerend setup, being built by Delaware Chassis Works,  Owner: Joe Timney.

Stay updated on our project over the next year by coming back frequently to see where we stand.
Our goal is to build and run our Streamliner at Maxton first to work out the bugs and then off to Bonneville Salt Flats for and all out attempt. for 400 MPH.  This is just a goal that we would like to meet,  It will take time to  achieve this, and I'm sure we will be making many attempts.  But with the generous help of Family and Friends we will meet the goal.

A Little bit about our Team:
S & H Landspeed Racing  / Streeter and Hinkle Landspeed Racing

Our Team started nearly 3.5 years ago in Amarillo Texas,  A lot has come and gone in the past few years.  The biggest loss for the Team was the passing of my Wife Cindy,  She had the push to get me to do this, and I will accomplish every goal we set.  I was fortunate enough to secure a Sponsorship for the Team, and we are very pleased with our results so far.    I have completed the drawings for the Streamliner and some of the details are currently being updated agian, which seems to be an endless process.  I'm sure there will be many more changes in the future as the project progresses.  I will keep the Website updated  as the build moves from step to step.

If any other parties are interested in more information about our project please feel free to contact us at  jrstreeter@msn.com .  We are always open for any information related to our build, especially the critical, and Safety issues.  Hope to hear from you...
